CALL FOR ENTRIES SKI&GOLF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
WEDNESDAY, 13 MAY - SATURDAY, 16 MAY 2026
GENERAL
ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE
Amateurs who are members of a regular member club affiliate of the Austrian Golf Association (ÖGV) or a foreign national association and have a World Handicap Index (WHI) of max. 18, as well as teaching and playing pros, are eligible to participate. Skiers should be able to master a giant slalom.
CHANGES TO AND DURING THE EVENT; FORCE MAJEURE
The Participant acknowledges and agrees that the Organiser Zell am See-Kaprun Tourismus GmbH may, at its sole discretion (whether for safety, legal or other reasons), change or postpone or cancel the Ski Race (distance, change of date* or other aspects of the race course) or the Golf Course at any time, with or without notice, if it deems that the conditions for the Event are unsafe or otherwise unsuitable. Minor and last-minute adjustments that make participation in the event not overall impossible are not substantial changes to the contract and do not give rise to a right of cancellation or termination.
*If a ski race is not possible on Thursday or Friday due to weather conditions, skiing will be supplemented by an additional 18-hole game of golf. The final decision will be made by the ski club and the organiser on Monday in the week of the event.

RACE TIME AND CONVERSION
- Giant slalom in one run - best time approx. 40 seconds
- The time of the ski race is multiplied by a factor of 3, rounded down to 0.50 seconds and rounded up from 0.51 seconds in order to obtain an adjusted number of strokes.
- In the event of an elimination in the giant slalom, a maximum time of 70 seconds will be included in the classification.
- The official time table will be communicated online and via the loudspeakers in the finish area.
STARTING ORDER
- Information to follow
COURSE INSPECTION
- 9 - 9.30am (not at race pace) - Please follow the instructions of the ski club regarding the possibility of viewing the race course outside or inside. These instructions will be announced on site depending on weather conditions.
SKI RACE
- Helmets are compulsory in ski races.
- If a competitor commits a gate error, he/she may not ski through the other gates; otherwise the maximum time of 70 seconds is automatically taken into account in the scoring.
- The finish line must be crossed - either on both skis, - on one ski - or, in the event of a fall in the immediate vicinity of the finish line, with both feet. In this case, the recorded stop time counts if the timing is triggered with any part of the body or piece of equipment.
- If a racer is obstructed by a marshal during the run, he/she must leave the course immediately, report to the next gate judge without delay and describe the obstruction in detail. The racer then crosses the finish line at the edge of the piste (without being timed). The ski race organisers will decide on a possible re-run.
COMPULSORY INSURANCE
- Each participant must sign or agree to a disclaimer when registering.
